Independent Living

Independent Living is for those who are able to care for their own needs — laundry, medications, bed making, showers, etc.

Independent residents may add up to two services, for example, medication management and shower assistance, among others. When more than two services are needed, residents move up to an Assisted Living level of care, which includes many services.

Residents may stay in the same room for all levels of service unless they require 24 hour Nursing Care or a specialized program of care.

Many of our independent residents enjoy living close to loved ones, who need the additional services of Assisted Living or Nursing Care.

Independent Living services include:

Three restaurant style meals each day
Most special diets can be accommodated
Snacks & beverages throughout the day
On-site weekly physician visits
Personal Lifeline pendants enable residents to immediately summon assistance from anywhere in the building
Physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy available on site
Housekeeping and linen service included
Laundry service/laundry rooms available
Utilities included, except cable TV & phone
Planned activities: games, socials & exercise
Regularly scheduled outings
